21 Day Mommy Blogger Weight Loss Challenge (2/1) #21MBC

Dustin has given us a list of "rules" in order to earn points for doing good (or positive) things and losing points for doing bad (or negative) things. Obviously, the goal is to do positive things to help ourselves immprove our health, have more energy, be a healthy example to our children, and make new friends in the process. As the challenge progresses, I'll share more about the points I'm earning and/or losing. I shouldn't lose too many since I don't drink soda, don't skip breakfast, and I very, very rarely eat out!

I will be posting at least once a week to let you know how I am doing.

I have set a daily goal for this week:

I will do my scheduled workout each day before noon.

Our group daily goal for this week is:

Read at least 10 minutes of something you like.
I have made out a calendar with the workouts list on it. I will be splitting the workout and doing strength one day, cardio/core the next, Monday through Saturday, and taking Sunday as a day of rest.
Saturday will be the hardest day for me to stick to my goal, as my kids have basketball and cheering that day.

Keeping a food journal is important and I will be sharing what I am eating with you.
A couple weeks ago I won the Suddenly Slim 30 day program from First Fitness. I started this Monday, so I will not be following the eating plan for this challenge this time around. The foods that I eat are going to be based on the Suddenly Slim Program, and will include lots of veggies!

Here's a photo taking last summer. I'm not in front of the camera very often (usually the one behind it)! I was probably about 10-15 pounds lighter in the photo that I am starting today.
All that is changing and I'm excited to share it with you!

My kiddos also have basketball on Saturdays so I'm thinking an evening workout on those days will have to do. Good luck and keep up the good work!

What a great goal for the week I know how hard it is when the kids are home. I KNOW you can Do it. :)

It can be hard when the kids are around to get our work outs in. I will probably skip the weekend totally since we have our family gatherings on the weekend.
