Yummy Strawberry Jam

First, I apologize for being gone so long. We were out of town for about 2 1/2 weeks with a family reunion in WV and then Sebring Holiness Campmeeting. A great time was had by all, but boy are we glad to be back in the air conditioning!

Strawberry Jam, oh so yummy!

We bought lots of berries at our local farmer's market and got busy prepping.

My little walk-in closet of a kitchen ready for the berries and jars! What you see is the whole kitchen area, well, add the rest of the refridgerator on the left and row of drawers on the right side. Yep, that's it!

We decided we wanted lots of smaller chunks of berries, so Aaron is busy chopping them with the Pampered Chef chopper. This worked great!

We thought a batch with blueberries would be nice too!

Aaron being thoughtful washed about 2 dishes...

The finished jars waiting to be wiped off!

I had read great things about liquid pectin. I did not get good results with it. I much prefer the powdered. The batch with the liquid did not set...we now have syrup for our pancakes! My hubby says it's better than store bought! So sweet!
